Donations and Support Goals for 2025
Farm Tour
$20,000 per tour to cover expenses
To make the Farm Tours happen we rely on support from the community— individuals, businesses and other organizations whose mission supports the tour. Support for the tour can be from $25 to $5,000 or more. Click here for more information on Tour Support.
Finishing our Outdoor Classroom
$5,000 of goal remaining
Canvas tenting to be over the raised platform
Continued Fencing & Repair
$7,500 goal and/or materials
Our newest fencing is now ten years old. Areas need repair and upgrades and most importantly boundary fencing needs to be established as residential development moved closer to our property.
Storage Space
$5,000 goal or donation of shed
The materials and equipment for our many classes take up a great deal of space which could bee used for other purposes. A stand alone storage space, with climate control, would be the best solution.
Farm House Renovations
$15,000 goal and/or materials
The age of the farm house presents us with ongoing needs for upgrades and repairs. High on the list for 2025 is better AC/Heat, upgrades to the kitchen, and repair of brick work surrounding the house.
Maintenance Equipment
$50,000 or donation or equipment
To maintain Millstone it is necessary to upgrade or own equipment. Millstone most desperately needs a tractor/bushhog to maintain the property. A rotor tiller would help us establish and expand our gardens. To continue to be a sustainability and teaching facility our modeling best practices in ag is important.
Upgrade to our Boathouse
$5,000 goal and/or materials
We have had some termite damage over the years and need some wood replaced. Additionally it is time for new screens and trim. This space is also available for overnight stays, classroom and meeting space, which add to our income.
Classroom Space
$25,000 goal and/or materials
With the interest in classes we are raising funds to construct one additional classroom. The space would be identical to our other small barn; approx. 16 x 32.
